Baibo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (BABIO), a trusted Chinese manufacturer of diagnostic reagents, introduces its Giemsa Stain Giemsa B Solution, a premium-quality staining product ideal for cytology, hematology, and parasitology labs across Europe, Africa, and global markets.
The Giemsa Stain Giemsa B Solution is specifically formulated for precise staining of cells, chromosomes, and Plasmodium smears, offering outstanding color contrast and cytological detail for microscopic examination. This product is suitable for use in blood smear analysis, chromosome banding, and malaria diagnostics, making it an essential tool in clinical and research laboratories.
Product Overview: Giemsa Stain Giemsa B Solution
BABIO’s Giemsa Stain Solution is a refined mixture of Azures and Eosin dyes, optimized with a pH 7.2 buffer, ensuring consistent staining results for all standard applications.
✅ Key Features:
-
High Definition Staining
Enhances nuclear and cytoplasmic detail, ideal for blood and bone marrow cell evaluation. -
Chromosomal Clarity
Delivers accurate banding patterns for chromosome analysis in cytogenetic testing. -
Plasmodium Detection
Facilitates clear identification of malaria parasites for rapid parasitological diagnosis. -
Flexible Packaging
Available in multiple sizes to suit hospital labs, diagnostic centers, and research institutes.
Applications & Operation
1. Hemocyte Staining
After methanol fixation, slides are stained using a 1:9 dilution (Solution A:B) for 10–30 minutes. Rinse and dry for microscopy.
2. Chromosome Banding
Following trypsin treatment, specimens are stained in diluted Giemsa solution for 10 minutes and observed under a microscope for banding clarity.
3. Plasmodium Smears
The stain highlights intracellular parasites within erythrocytes, critical for malaria detection.
Important Notes
-
Ensure slides are clean and smears are fully dried before staining.
-
Adjust staining time based on temperature and dye concentration.
-
Use sufficient dye to cover the smear; avoid evaporation.
-
Rinse gently with water to avoid dye deposition.
-
Reuse of dye is possible, but filtration is necessary when sediment forms.
Result Interpretation
-
Blood Smears:
-
RBCs: Pink to orange-red
-
WBC nuclei: Blue to dark blue
-
Cytoplasmic granules: Characteristic hues for different granulocytes
-
-
Chromosomes:
Distinct G-banding with darker and lighter segments depending on chromatin composition.
